ドをにご注意!
Be careful of the door.

@benoit Oh, you've already learnt 注意 (= caution). I studied only a few weeks ago and now I see it everywhere.

@codewiz
And I guess you hear it all the time now (in particular in train stations). Ex: γƒ‰γ‚’γŒη· γΎγ‚ŠγΎγ™γ€γƒ‰γ‚’γŒη· γΎγ‚ŠγΎγ™γ€γ”ζ³¨ζ„γγ γ•γ„γ€‚doaga shimarimasu, doa ga shimarimasu, gochΕ«i kudasai! The doors are closing, the doors are closing, be careful.
@benoit

@Fabimaru @benoit Ahhh, that's what it said! So 注意 gets ご instead of お because... it's a word of Chinese origin?

@codewiz
I don't know if there any rule for the お and ご honorifics. I always assumed there is none and it has to be learned for each word (in my Anki packets I put the info for each noun)
@benoit

@codewiz
Ééééééééé! (JP-style surprise reaction) Thank you!
@benoit
