I block facebook, twitter and others + ads with my DoH server, but recently Firefox seems to do something nasty as it resolve successfully the domain www.facebook.com and others...
Is it bypassing my DoH because he gets a NXDOMAIN???
@benoit report the bug
@benoit Check the network.trr.mode parameter : set it to 5 if not already done
@Shaft was at 2, set to 5, same... Not sure where is the problem for now.
I see the requests, but the browser is doing classical DNS requests after the DoH? Should verify that with tcpdump/wireshark... But not the time now.
@Shaft Wait a minute, 5 actually remove my custom DoH...
@benoit Ah ! The custom DoH is set in FF :)
5 disables DoH. You can put it back to 2 or 3, the difference being there is a fallback mechanism with 2 and not with 3.
